Week 1: Senior Year
Since the beginning of my school career, I have been wondering what high school would be like and what I will decide to do as a career. I have stuck to most of my hopes and dreams that I have had since preschool, but they have also changed a little bit. I have learned a lot during these years, and I am very thankful for my education.
Senior year is not as awesome as I though it would be when I was a 1st grader. I thought I would be able to wear pajamas when I want, learn whatever I want to, not have any tests, eat whenever I want, and leave whenever I want. I thought that I would have a lot more freedoms than I do now as a senior.
This year is going great so far!!! I got all of the classes I wanted. All of my classes aren't even that hard! I believe that any class can be easy to learn as long as you try hard to learn it. What I just said may not sound right at first, but think about it. If you aren't TRYING to learn it, you simply won't learn it. Besides, it would be boring to have everything come to you easily. There is a sense of great accomplishment when it is a challenge to get something down. Like that hard new section in your math class. Once you work at it with persistence, you will learn how to do it and it will feel GREAT!!!
I am especially excited for visiting more colleges and turning in applications. I am very enthused to get into a college that best suits me and begin my nursing education there. I'm not quite sure if I want to do my general education (gen eds) at ICC and then transfer, or enter a college as a freshman. I have some months to decide things like this, and I am very thankful for the help that is provided to me to decide these things.
My goals this year are to find a good college that suits me best, learn as much as I can before going to college, getting the best grades I can, learn better tolerance for them BIGOTS out there, learn to not let people get to me, and HAVE FUN!!!!!!! 😊

the hardest thing is to learn to not let people get to you.
