Week 9: Top 10 Favorite Things To Do At Work (Subway)

(These are in no specific order) Making comments to my co-workers while taking an order from drive through MAKING SANDWICHES!!!!! I am a perfectionist when I make my sandwiches BAKING COOKIES!!!!! I make them really soft, and they make the store smell nice. Messing with my co-workers. Sometimes, the pressure is off in the store. So when the drive thru window is closed, one of the lobby doors opens. I will open and close the drive thru window to make the door open and close, and the bell dings over and over. I also make funny comments and pick on my co-workers. We are just fun that way. Sweeping the floors. It is nasty to be walking on filth. Prepping green peppers. I don't know why, but green peppers are my favorite things to prep. Doing dishes. I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES A GOOD JOB CLEANING THE DISHES. Cleaning the bathrooms. Week 8: The Blue Baby Shoes

For sale: Baby shoes, never worn- East Peoria, IL I am a young mother that lives locally, and I am trying to clear out my baby's closet. I would like to tell you my back story, because I think that it is important for you to know.  I have been infertile for years now, and my husband and I have tried everything. Despite our desperate attempts to make it happen, we still haven't been able to get an egg fertilized. So we decided to fertilize one of my eggs in a petri dish, and then plant the fertilized egg in my uterus. I was pregnant with baby Aiden for 4 months. I was so excited to see him. I bought tons of baby boy things and had his nursery all ready within the first 3 months of being pregnant. I lost him. He will never see his amazing nursery, or the face of his mommy and daddy. I will never be able to hold, kiss, cuddle, or feed him. We wanted to try again, but discovered that I have stage 1 uterine cancer. I have to remove my uterus in 2 weeks. It will be a while until...

Week 7: Born to Live in the Turn of the Century

If I were to be born in a different time, I would want to be born right before women had the right to vote. There is something about the old fashioned way of life that sounds like a dream. Staying at home with the kids while my husband goes to work. We get in debt for buying a ton of things that we dont really need. I would try my best to please my husband and raise my kids to be respectful and responsible citizens. but then I would want to experience some freedom and get out of the house. I would fight for women's right to vote, and I would form committees of women and men to discuss how we are going to convince people to change. I would also have support groups for struggling men, women, and families that are going through anything. I can see myself being a strong woman that would make a difference in lots of people's lives in that time.
